Bryan and I spent last weekend at my aunt and uncle’s cottage at Lake Freeman in Indiana. You should have seen Bryan’s face when he learned that my aunt had arranged for us to sleep “in the blue bed near Jillian’s parents’ bed”
Don’t get me wrong, we love my parents, but I’m not sure if our nearly two-year marriage is ready to share a family bed with them yet.
So, we moved to a pair of twin beds in the loft that were arranged in the shape of an L. I insisted on sleeping with our heads closest together “so we can talk all night, like a real sleepover!” Bryan mumbled something about being too tired for talking, but I couldn’t quite understand what that meant.
Can you believe he doesn’t know how to play Truth or Dare?
