One of my favorite parts of wedding planning was selecting decor for the ceremony and dinner. I had a very specific look in mind, so even though I was working with the teensiest budget, I knew I’d need to purchase most things in order to pull it off. Thankfully, we’ve got some great thrift stores in Indy!

All of my hard work paid off. I thought our ceremony and dinner were beautifully decorated (if I do say so myself) and so many guests commented that the wedding really felt like Bryan and me. I think that was due in large part to the decor we chose!
The best part about buying most of your own wedding decorations is that you get to keep them after the wedding day is through. So now, our house is decorated with a bunch of “new” things! They freshen up some of the stale places in our home and now, every time I look at them, I’m reminded of our special day.
