2014 | 2015

It’s New Year’s Eve! 2014 was good to me. I got engaged and married, was able to travel and spend time with lots of friends, and celebrated Turkey’s first birthday.

I have lots of hopes for 2015. Here are two of my resolutions:

  • To waste less, buy less, and own less. I’d like to start this goal by donating 1/4 to 1/3 of the stuff I have – clothes, dishware, makeup, etc. – and NOT replacing it.
  • To be easier on myself and others. I feel guilty about, well, most things, and I have really high expectations of people. While those aren’t necessarily bad things, they certainly can lead to disappointment, resentment, and frustration. This year, I hope to become more patient, more forgiving, and more understanding.

I have a handful of other, more personal goals that I’ll save for another day. But I promise I’ll keep working and pushing ahead! Wishing you lots of motivation and success as you tackle your resolutions in the coming months, too. We can do it!

Happy New Year!
