This morning, 9:15 am. A coworker runs to my desk.
“Jillian! Persephone!”
“Yes?” we turn toward him.
“Blake is wearing denim-on-denim today! Denim-on-denim! A denim shirt and jeans! Is that trendy now?”
“Um, it depends on the textures and shades of the denim,” I say.
“But it is trendy if you do it right,” Persephone says.
“Ok, well make sure you walk past his desk today and look at it. Let me know what you think. I’d like to know if he pulls it off. And if you think I could.”
