happy dia de los muertos!

I’m infatuated with Sugar Skulls. I think they’re beautiful and feminine, and I love their symbolism.

Sugar skulls are a tradition associated with Dia de los Muertos, a holiday in which people across the world honor their deceased friends and family members.

I like these skulls so much, I actually got one tattooed on my ribs a couple of years ago.

You guessed it. My sugar skull has super long eyelashes!

This weekend, for a Halloween party, I painted my friend Megan’s face as a sugar skull. Pretty cute, huh?
