A couple of weekends ago, we traveled down to Nashville, Tennessee to celebrate a monumental occasion: Addie’s wedding!
On Friday morning, I packed up my dress, left the cat with a list of emergency numbers, and drove 4 hours south with Coleman.
We met at the nail salon. That's Rachel, Me, Preggo Jenny and Christie. We rehearsed to perfection at the church.
I wasn't quite aware that you weren't allowed to have any fun during a rehearsal, but braided Jessica quickly set me straight. She was especially disturbed by the slow clap that Jenny and I tried to start when Addie walked down the aisle. Here she is lecturing Addie about something.
Though Jessica was the church's wedding coordinator, she could have been mistaken as Agatha Trunchbull from "Matilda". All she needed was a chocolate cake and the Chokey.
We managed to snap a quick shot, though, when Trunchbull left the room. That's me, Rachel, Jenea, Michelle and Christy.
After the church, we went to the Acorn for dinner!
Coleman and me :)
Blake and Jenny (and baby!)
Derek and Jenea!
It was freezing on the patio, so Coleman and Derek made themselves cozy using a heat lamp as a bar.
Addie and the Packer fam
The four of us!
After dinner, we enjoyed huge slabs of cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory, then headed back to the hotel for a good night’s rest before THE BIG DAY!
Holy cow!! Trunchbull made me laugh big time! Chokey!! I think Matilda is a little underrated. Anyway, cute pics! More please!
