Joel flew in from Denver Tuesday night to spend a few days in Indy. Since Marlin didn’t get in until Wednesday evening, Joel stayed at our house for the night. Here’s the conversation from Tuesday night.
Jillian leaves the living room where she was sitting with Coleman and Joel. She goes upstairs to change into pajamas. A minute later, Coleman leaves the living room to go upstairs, too.
About five minutes later, Coleman comes back downstairs, followed by Jillian. As he walks into the living room, Coleman says to Joel:
C: Sorry that took so long.
Joel: No big deal.
C: Did you hear the mattress?
Joel: What?
C: Did you hear the mattress when we were upstairs?
Joel: …Why? What were you doing up there, Coleman?
C: I inflated the air mattress for you. The vacuum thing is really loud. Why?
Joel: Are you sure? It sounds like you’re talking about something else.
C: Huh? Ohhhh!
Jillian: Oh gross. I’m going to bed.

And Coleman cracks me up! It’s like he has NO idea what he’s saying!
