Sometimes, Coleman says weird things. In particular, he really likes to use cliches. Unfortunately, he frequently gets the cliches wrong. Thus, this segment.
Today’s cliche?
Coworker: Why don’t they just decide?
Coleman: I don’t know.
Coworker: Have you tried to sell them on such-and-such point?
Coleman: I have, but they just won’t commit. It’s like pulling at strings!
In this situation, I believe the cliche he was looking for was:
“Grasping at straws”
Grasping at straws.
I have a feeling I am really going to enjoy these segments. OMG. I can’t wait.
I’d blog too, if my husband did stupid things like yours does. But he doesn’t. We are the perfect couple. :D
