“Jillian,” Audrey said, walking to my desk. “How are you doing today?”
“Just fine, Audrey. How are you?” I asked.
“Great. You know, I just went shopping and I had to come over and tell you: I got a bra.”
“A bra?”
“Yes, I found the most wonderful bra–do you need a bra?”
“Um, eventually, I guess.”
“Well, I found the most wonderful bra at Dillards. Do you know Dillards?”
“Yes. In Park Meadows?”
“Yes, Park Meadows. Where do you buy your bras?”
“Victoria’s Secret, usually.”
“Oh, no. I can’t wear those bras. Too flashy for an old woman like me!”
I laughed.
“I tried one of those new bras,” Audrey continued. “You know, the ones with no straps on them?”
“Strapless bras?” I clarified.
“Yes, strapless. I tried one of those and they are terrible! Do you wear any of those kind?”
“Yes, sometimes,” I said.
“Well, I hated them. My breasts don’t even fit in them! But, I suppose you can wear them. You’re so small chested.”
Thanks Audrey.
Oh, Audrey!
I can’t wait to meet Audrey!
I wish I had an Audrey at work.
Jillian, I never met you at CCB, but Regan pointed me to your blog. You CRACK me up!!! (and so does O-Wad-Reeee) Thank you for the giggles. :)
